LOGLINE
In a sky-suspended city where age depends on geography, not time, an immortal young man falls for a mortal girl doomed to age and die, unless he’s willing to risk everything to break the system that keeps them apart.
HIGH-CONCEPT PREMISE
In Cieloalto, life follows a radical rule: aging is determined by where you stand. Move left, and you grow younger. Move right, and you age. Cross the invisible boundary of your assigned life zone, and you die. It's a city built on a massive bridge stretching through the clouds, where space is fate, and time is irrelevant. Most citizens live forever, carefully staying within the neighborhood that corresponds to their lifespan. Only the Travelers can roam freely, but at the cost of mortality. This world flips the logic of time and space, creating a mind-bending visual and narrative playground perfect for screen adaptation and gamification, where one misstep can mean sudden death, and love across zones becomes an act of rebellion.
THE STORY
Javier, an Immortal, meets Matilda, a Traveler. They’re born the same day, but only one of them will grow old. As their childhood friendship blossoms into forbidden love, Matilda must leave to begin her journey, aging with each step. Javier hesitates at the moment that matters most, and Matilda is gone. He stays behind, watching centuries pass in ageless solitude, haunted by the decision he didn’t make.
WHY IT WORKS FOR SCREEN
Cieloalto (Skyhigh) offers striking visual storytelling, emotional depth, and a unique sci-fi concept where geography controls aging. Its original worldbuilding provides strong franchise potential, ideal for sequels, prequels, and spin-offs that explore the city’s rich, rule-driven society and the fate of those who defy it.
THEME
A meditation on love, regret, and the cost of freedom in a world where time stands stil, but choices echo forever.
